Raimon Land Public Company Limited appointed “Prof. Dr. Surakiart Sathirathai” as the honorary chairman of RML aiming to become Thailand’s leader in luxury real estate development business.

Mr. Kris Narongdej, Chairman of the Committee of Raimon Land Public Company Limited, or RML, announced that the board has approved the appointment of Prof. Dr. Surakiart Sathirathai to serve as the honorary chairman for the company.

The company firmly believes that Prof. Dr. Surakiart , the former Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance, is a highly qualified person who has knowledge, abilities, and experiences in driving Thailand’s economic growth. In addition to a long list of professional experiences as president of many large organizations, Prof. Dr. Surakiart had once been a chairman of the committee of RML for over a year. With outstanding qualifications and without any forbidding characteristics as defined by the Public Limited Companies Act, B.E. 2535 (1992), the regulations of The Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) to be the honorary chairman, Prof. Dr. Surakiart will take up the position from today (26 August 2020) onwards.

Prof. Dr. Surakiart’s role includes providing business strategic directions and giving advice to the Board members and the Executives with his well-rounded experiences; leading RML to succeed in maintaining its position at the Thailand’s leader in luxury real estate development business; and helping the company to achieve its goals with sustainable growth in the future.
